Peter Frederick Misenor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Frederick Misenor of Portland, Maine, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Robert Misenor and Edna Marguerite Pillsbury; his sisters, Doris, Joy and Ruth; and his son Brett Louis Misenor.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Sara McInnis-Misenor; his siblings, Frank Fagone Jr., June Roullard and Rosemarie Fitch; his friend James Thibodeau; and also Kathryn of Saco. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home - Saco (365 Main St, Saco, ME 04072).
In lieu of flowers, Peter requested that donations be made in his memory to "House in the Woods", a Veterans Organization, whose mission is to create a therapeutic, recreational, and educational retreat for our nation's U.S. armed forces and their families, using outdoor wilderness activities in Maine and natural habitats to help participants share common challenges related to their service and sacrifice in protecting our nation's freedom and democratic ideals.
