She was predeceased by: her father Elias Shamos; and her siblings, Stavros Shamos and Kasiani Para. She is survived by: her mother Marigo Shamos (Economou); her daughters, Elisabeth Smith (Judson) of Portland and Esther Williams of Portland; her grandchildren, Jameson (Tiffany Bossie) of Cape Elizabeth and Maia Pliss of Boston, MA; and her nieces and nephews, Leta Dede of Portland, Elaine Shamos of Falmouth, Joanne Schaufelberger of Chevy Chase, MD, Michael Shamos of Mexico and Philip Williams of Paramus, NJ..
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home (199 Woodford St, Portland, ME 04103). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (133 Pleasant St, Portland, ME 04101). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Forest City Cemetery (232 Lincoln St, South Portland, ME 04106).
