The memory of Mariette Therese Carey of Portland, Maine, who passed away on November 14, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pamphile Poulin and Lydia Poulin (Fortin); and her husband J. Normand Lessard. She is survived by: her children, Norma-Jean Thurber of Topsham, Maine, Jerome "Jerry" Lessard (Julie) of Standish and John Lessard (Susan) of Goffstown, N. H.; her grandchildren, Melissa Barter, Christopher Barter, Andrew Lessard, Matthew Lessard, Kevin Lessard, Leanne Hamilton, Adam Lessard, Erica Walsh and Cody Lessard; and her siblings, Robert Poulin of Dexter, Maine and Pauline Maxwell of Waterville. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (492 Ocean Ave, Portland, ME 04103).
