He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Meehan and Kathleen Meehan; his brother Denny; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Beltran, Lawrence Littlefield and George Davis; and his parents-in-law, Dick and Norma Littlefield.

He is survived by: his wife Norma; his sons, Ryan Meehan and Nicholas Meehan (Alana); his granddaughters, Alana Meehan and Ayla McCurdy; his siblings, Sheila Rideout, Denise Davis and Michael Meehan (Antoinette); and his sister-in-law Dolores Carpenter (Bob). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
