He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Paine and Annie Paine (Gardner); and his siblings, Tommy, Bobby and Joan.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred (Turner); his friends, Frank, Charlie and Marie; his sons, John G. Paine (Margaret Anne) and Andrew J. Paine; his grandson Jack Paine of Swampscott, MA.; and his sister Carol Paquet of York, ME. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
