Joan Lancia Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Lancia of Portland, Maine, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Lancia to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gallant and Julia Beaulieu Gallant; her spouse Benedetto "Benny" Lancia; and her siblings, Eileen Daicy, Lorraine Crawford and John Gallant.
She is survived by: her son Peter (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Julia, Joey and Andrea; and her siblings, Doreen Cook and Joseph Gallant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel (1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106). A prayer will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Homes and Cremation Services (1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (307 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101).
