With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilberte M. Hutchings of Portland, Maine, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Joan (Merle Bragdon), John (Nancy Hutchings), Jane (Garry Smith) and Janice (Russell Wilson); her grandchildren, John (Holly), Michael (Frannie), Carly (Jason), Neil (Courtney), Brian (Michelle), Travis (Samantha) and Kelly (Sam); and her siblings, Roland, Leonce, Fern, Theresa and Edmee. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
