Clara Tyler Donovan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Tyler Donovan in Portland, Maine, born in Columbia Falls, Maine, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Tyler and Harold Tyler; her husband Melvin Donovan Jr.; her grandson James Johnston (Jimbo); her daughter-in-law Carole Donovan; and her sisters, Letitia Tibbetts and Marjorie Worcester.
She is survived by: her children, Stuart Donovan, Maxine Savage (Stephen) and Joan Davis (Bruce); her granddaughters, Katelin Potter-Rivera (Jacob), Jinny Clifton (William) and Katherine Johnston; her great grandchildren, Malisa Johnston, Neil Johnston, Juliette Potter-Rivera and Adeline Potter-Rivera; and her brother Harold Tyler Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Homes (220 Court St, Machias, ME 04654). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Columbia Falls United Methodist Church (16 Church Hill Cir, Columbia Falls, ME 04623).
The family has chosen to send donations to Maine Veterans Home Activities Fund 32 Veterans Way, Machias ME 04654.
