Camillo Breggia Obituary

The memory of Camillo Breggia (Portland, Maine), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parent Ottaviano Breggia (Dave); his wife Judith Russo; his mother Camilla Profenno Breggia (Profenno); his sisters, Edith Breggia and Constance Montecalvo; and his nephew David Warming.

He is survived by: his children, Camillo L. Breggia Jr. (Dianne) of Pompano, FL, Joanne Breggia Alfiero (Gary) of Windham and Gina O. Breggia-Reidy (William) of Gorham; his sisters, Joanne Hachey (Joseph) of Gorham and Linda Breggia (James Kane) of Portland; his grandchildren, William Reidy (Alexa), Grace Alfiero, Lucia Reidy, Col. Andrew Alfiero, Erica Hogan, Donald Newbegin and Erica Kierstead; and his great grandchild Lacey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services (660 Brighton Ave, Portland, ME 04102). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (72 Federal St, Portland, ME 04101). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Calvary Cemetery (1461 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106).
