The memory of Brian James Carkhuff (Portland, Maine), who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Carkhuff and Edna Carkhuff (Hjort). He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Bishop (Joseph), Diane Roche (Dennis) and Amy Doucette (Robert); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Bishop (Chris), Tori Bishop, Logan Roche (Lauren), Jordan Roche, Lexi Clark (Chris) and Alli Durost (Nate); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Connor Clark, Violet Roche and Cameron Durost. He is also survived by his wife, three daughters, their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home (199 Woodford St, Portland, ME 04103). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (279 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Brooklawn Memorial Park (2002 Congress St, Portland, ME 04102).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Animal Refuge League, Westbrook, ME.
