He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aldo Edward and Frances Moody (Day); his wife Faith Moody (Chapman) of Porter; his daughters, Jeanna Libby (Moody) of Porter and Joy Martineau (Moody) of Parsonsfield; his grandchildren, Amber Donahue (Moody), Alissa Wetzelaer (Moody), Jessica Libby, Kyle, Eric and Brandon Martineau; his great grandchildren, Rylee Donahue and Paxton Wetzelaer; his siblings, Shirley Ann Jordan (Moody) and Paul Moody; and his son Russell (Rusty).
Every time the Moody family lost a member, over the past 28 years, he has asked for donations for the scholarship, to keep it going.
