He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Violet O'Brien Sr. (Chase); and his siblings, Deborah, Tammy, Patrick "Shane", Scott, Jeff and Edward "Duke" O'Brien.
He is survived by: his close friend Diane Baird of Porter; his son Dusty O'Brien (Lauren Edgerly) of Parsonsfield; his stepson Jake; and his grandchildren, Haven, Addison, Brendan, Aidan, Jaxson and Liam.
