He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pierce and Julia Pierce; his wife Mazie Grace Metcalf; his son James; and his brothers, Wayne and Keith.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Pierce (Deborah) of Porter, Daniel Pierce of Porter and Kathleen Vitale (Michael) of Gloucester, MA.; his sister Ann Purvis of Dade City, FL.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Suzanne, Elizabeth, Anna, Mazie, Sara, Danielle and Ethan; and his great grandchildren, Chevy, Camden, Bradey, Kate, Lawrence, Levi, Silas, Aiden, Nolan, Mazie and Elias.
