He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Hoyt Simmons and Doris Eleanor Murphy; and his brother Dennis Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Jean Simmons; his children, Todd (Kim) of South Thomaston, Ann (Tim Hoppe) of Martinsville and Travis (Stephanie) of Port Clyde; his brothers, Dana (Rita), Neil (Rayetta) and Mark (Rhea); his grandchildren, Tanya Simmons, Emma Simmons, Chloe Simmons Mya Simmons, Ivan Simmons, Leah (Ivan Dzintars), Cortney Simmons, Eli Carleton (Katie), Hunter Hoppe and Brooke Hoppe; his stepgreat-grandsons, Ray and Leo Carleton; and his great grandchild Riley Johnson.
