It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Purington Sr. of Poland, Maine, born in Mechanic Falls, Maine, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Purington and Vera W. Round Purington; his wife Gail S. Page; and his daughter-in-law Denise. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Jr., David and Debra; his grandchildren, Ryan and James; and his siblings, Harold S. Purington, Richard Purington, Marion D. Gallant and Ellen A. Melvin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
