With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reginald J. Knowles (Pittsfield, Maine), born in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Crosby Knowles and Leona Knowles (Deag); his wife Beatrice (Lyford); his siblings, Arthur, Norman, George, Aubrey, Barry, Yvonne, RoseMarie, Phyllis, Patricia, Joanne and Sandra Jean; and his son-in-law John White.
He is survived by: his children, Laurel White of Newburgh, Gary Knowles (Lillian) of Pittsfield and Rebecca Gray (Isaac) of Limington; his brother Ronald Knowles of Milo; and his grandchildren, Chris White (Beth), Jennifer Madore (Cory), Chris Bailey (Gail), Rochelle White (David), Corina Rackliff (Jeremy), Erin Hobart (Andy), Sarah Duplinsky (John) and Elizabeth Gray-Cowing (Donna). He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are invited to make a donation in his name to the First Congregational Church of Pittsfield or your favorite veteran's organization.
