He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillis Dunphy and Josephine Dunphy (Reed); and his brothers, Richard Dunphy, John Dunphy and Reed Dunphy.
He is survived by: his spouses, Dorothy "Dot" Lancaster and Dorothy "Dot" Dunphy of Pittsfield; his children, Paul Dunphy of Clinton, James Dunphy (Pamela) of Pittsfield, Colleen Martin (Steve) of Pittsfield and Roger Dunphy of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Celeste Bellerose (Jason), Steven Dunphy (Maghan), Kory Martin (Amy Bennett), Bradley Martin (Gretchen Scholtz), Gavin Dunphy (Samantha Turcotte) and Justine Dunphy; his great grandchildren, Haley, Lauren, Brayden, Mada, Carli and Daisy; and his sister Janice McGowan (Bob) of Pittsfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
