In the vast expanse of eternity, Laforest shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Laforest farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wright and Olive Wood Wright; and his wife Mary Haseltine. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Wright of Goose Creek, SC, Gail Drake Wright of Boston Massachusetts and Douglas Wright of Anderson, SC.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Standard Cremation & Funeral Center (1621 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Upstate SC, where his son Douglas is CEO.
