With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel W. Oakes of Pittsfield, Maine, born in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel W. Oakes and Margaret L. Oakes (Bearce); and his sister Marlene Anderson. He is survived by: his friend Anna Maria Parker; his daughter Christine Beck (Gene) of Bangor; his grandson Josh Hanna (Brooke); his great grandchild Elise Marie; and his grandchildren, Emily Kandel (Justin) of Portland and Tom Hanna of Bangor. He is also survived by his niece and nephews; and other members of his extended family.
