She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Packard and Viola Carle; her husband Byron "Red" Ballard; her sons, Jimmy, Steven and Joey; her great grandchild Riley; and her brother Chester Packard.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Heather and Sonja; her children, Kathy Vanadestine (Terry) of Pittsfield and Randy Ballard (Lisa) of Hartland; her sister-in-law Carol Packard; and her pet Susan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
