It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan M. Read of Phillips, Maine, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar S. Adams and Bertha Mae Adams; her sister Elizabeth (Donald Wotton) of Boothbay Harbor; and her brother-in-law Duane Lewis Sr. of Phillips. She is survived by: her husband James of Phippsburg; her children, Ronald W. Cromwell, Melissa L. Cromwell Temple (Mike) of Wiscasset and Amanda B. Read-Brewer (Joshua) of Wiscasset; her sister Barbara Adams Lewis of Wilton; her grandchildren, Chris Cromwell (Brittany), Dylan Cromwell, Ashley Cromwell, Aiden Temple and Elaina Brewer; her great grandchildren, Addalyn and Everly Cromwell; her parents-in-law, Reginald and Gail Read; her brother-in-law Gary Read of Phippsburg; and her nephews, Raymond S. Lewis (Stephanie) of Wilton, Thomas and Brandon Read of Phippsburg. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
