With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Brooks of Phillips, Maine, who passed away on November 16, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brooks and Maude Brooks (Mandigo); and his wife Agnes Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Richard Brooks Jr. of Yarrow Point, WA, Eric Brooks (Doreen) of Ashland, MA, Wendy Leacu (Michael) of Wayland, MA and Matthew Brooks (Nora) of Portland, OR.; his grandchildren, Michele, Timothy Brooks, Thomas, Allison Leacu, Stefanie Germann and Oskar Brooks; and his siblings, Albert Jr., Charlie and Carol.
His passions included the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation where he was an active member for many years.
