Placey of Peru, Maine, born in Brunswick, Maine, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Doughty and Lucille Doughty (Bibber); and her siblings, Waitestill (Mary), Albert (Jean), Roland, Teresa Roof (Edward) and Frances Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Placey (Joseph Hahn) of Bath and Glenn Placey (Liza) of Lovell, ME; her sister Ruth Doughty of Westbrook; and her son Randy Carey (Karolla) of South Carolina. She is also survived by many niece and nephews.
