James Lowe Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lowe (Perry, Maine), born in Eastport, Maine, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lowe and Mary Lowe (Farris); his sisters, Betty (Vaughn) and Catherine (Jack); and his sister-in-law Nanette.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Maker; his friends, Dicky Flagg, Pat Candelmo and Jim; his son Gene Morang of New Orleans, LA; his brother Paul Lowe of Eastport; and his siblings-in-law, Bessie Curtis of Dennysville, Geraldine Farley of Edmunds and Franklin Maker of Perry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

“We are so saddened to hear of Jimmy's sudden passing. We lived in East Port for a short time, my Parents were John and Lillian Miller on Key street. My husband was raised in the lodge in East Port and to this day he is still a member there. He was very close to Jimmy and very fond of him. We have kept in touch via computer for over 30 years. The last we heard form him after his stroke he was recovering well. We will truly miss his beautiful photos he always sent. With sad hearts Jim and Fran Perkins ( #5 Dana St.)”
