It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Raye of Perry, Maine, born in Eastport, Maine, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd M. Morrison and J. Ruth Morrison (Bishop); her former husband Harry J. Raye; and her stepfather Edwin M. Pottle. She is survived by: her sons, David (Dorothy Turner), Dennis (Gwendolyn Turner), Dana (Judith Turner), Kevin (Karen Raye) and William (Ada Raye); her brother Gray (Kay Morrison) of Lubec; her siblings-in-law, Gary, Carol Raye of Lincoln, James, Lorie Raye of Eastport, Stephen and Donna Raye of Embden; her grandchildren, David, Deborah, Darren, Amy, Jeffrey, Wesley, Christina, Darrell, Dwayne, Deanna, Matthew, Sarah, Jonathan, James, Kandi, Sandi, Thomas, Michael, Jason, Jodie, Brandon, Nicholas and Lauren; and her great great grandchild Tessa Chaffey Ftorek. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service celebrating Frances' life will be at North Perry United Methodist Church with Pastor David Peterson and Tessa Chaffey Ftorek officiating, on her birthday, June 25, 2021, followed by interment at Restlawn Cemetery in Perry.
