She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Nelson and Mabel Nelson (Akerson); her husband Rodney Kent Wardwell; her siblings, Phyllis, Audrey, Shirley, Lorraine, Kenneth, Richard and Wesley; and her cousin Norma Lagasse.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Wardwell, Jr. (Kim) of Woodland and Joel Wardwell (Kelly) of Woodland; and her grandchildren, Jessie, Jessica, Jimmy, Sarah, Danielle, Kristen and Erin. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
