It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sean M. Lapointe of Perham, Maine, born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald LaPointe Jr. of Hamlin and Christine Mattoon; his daughter Athena Marie LaPointe; his stepfather Shane Whitmore of Woodland; his sisters, Britney LaPointe of Wade, Victoria LaPointe of Caribou, Emily LaPointe of Limestone and Macey Currier of Presque Isle; and his grandparents, Michael Mattoon Sr., Ronald Joseph LaPointe Sr. and Sylvia Ouellette. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
