He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Emma L. Estes (Gray); his siblings, Guy Boutelle and Phyllis Sorrentino; his nephew Reed Saunders; and his daughter-in-law Edythe "Deedee" Estes.
He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Campbell (Gregg), Dale Estes, Gregory Estes, Talley Estes, Wayne Estes and Darryl Estes (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Matthew Estes (Ashley), Jillian Diffin (Eric), Karley Estes (Sam), Ryanne Kahkonen (Tyler), Josey Estes (Petra), Brandon Campbell and Patrick Kahkonen; his brother Roland Estes (Rose); and his close friend Bernice "Bunny" Greene. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Maine Veterans Home of South Paris or the first Congregational Church of South Paris.
