He was predeceased by: his parents, Onni A. Raasumaa and Ellen S. Raasumaa (Maki); and his siblings, Taisto, Arvo, John, Elsie, Helvi and Alli.
He is survived by: his wife Carolynne Raasumaa; his daughter Mary Kaspereen (Michael); his granddaughter Hannah; and his siblings, Tarmo and Jean of South Paris.
