He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Scott Coffin (Paige), Penny Coffin O'Neil of Waterford and Fred W Coffin Jr. (Cheryl); his brother Larry Coffin of Bryant Pond; and his grandchildren, Timothy Coffin, Rodney Coffin, Nickolas Coffin and Krystal Eicher.
