He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Sweetser and Carolyn Sweetser (Deane). He is survived by: his wife Betty Gillis; his children, Kelly Vradenburgh (Travis), Julie Roy (Shawn), Daniel Sweetser and Richard Cowles (Pamela); his siblings, Sam Sweetser (Paula) and Roxana Stafford (Frank); and his brother-in-law Charlie Gillis (Maggie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Masonic Lodge in Buckfield.
