We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Cecil Kershner Jr. (Palmyra, Maine), born in Westbrook, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil and Helen Kershner, Sr. (Myrick); his brothers-in-law, Martelle Gordon of Benton and Tom Shaw of Middletown, CT; his nephew Andy Gordon; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Kershner and Roslyn Kershner.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Kershner of Palmyra; his sisters, Betty Shaw of Middletown, CT and Doreen Shaw of Tolland, CT; his children, Sandy Myers (Rick) of Pittsfield, Cecil "Buddy" Kershner (Karey) of Newport and Tracey Cooley (Kevin) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Amanda Petersen (Patrick) of Kennebunk, Holly Kiidli (Taavet) of Augusta, Nicole Kershner of Augusta, Cecil Kershner of Bangor, Kalee Kershner of Newport, Noah Kershner of Newport, Grace and Alex Cooley of Pittsfield; his great grandchildren, Cadence, Abby, Jaidon, Evelyn, Katie and Nya; his pets, Sam and Duffy; and also, Richard Gordon, Annette of Monroe, Skip Gordon, Helen of Ripley, Mike Gordon and Mary of Canaan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers our family has asked for donations to the horse rescue stated below.
