He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Cole and Linwood Clark Newell; his stepson Zachary Newell; and his siblings, Raymond and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane McInnis; his stepchildren, Mitzi Young (Calvin), Brendi Hemingway (Dana) and Gregory Newell; his grandchildren, Torry Poland, Cathey Kimball, Nicole Hemingway, Renee Hemingway and Jeffrey Newell; his great grandchildren, Caden, Maddie Poland, Jaxson, Gavyn, Sophie Kimball and Roczen; and his siblings, Linwood Clark (John) and Susan Brown.
