It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Thomas Hurd of Owls Head, Maine, born in Rockland, Maine, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hurd (Sullivan) and Harland H. Hurd; and his sisters, Madeline (Charles Pine) of Browns Mills and Christine (Jack LaFlamme) of Old Town, Maine.. He is survived by: his daughters, Carol (David Martz) of Rockland, Maureen Hurd of Thomaston and Diane (Frank Henderson) of Thomaston; his grandchildren, Jessica Martz, Jennifer Martz, Erin (Ethan Aiken), Colleen (Ian Anderson), Brian Haskell, Meredith (James Fales), Keenan Joyce, Lindsey (Phillip) and Alayna Joyce; his stepgranddaughter Rebecca Henderson; his stepgreat-granddaughter Laney Fales; his great grandchildren, Liana Fales and Margaret Anderson (Maggie); his daughters, Priscilla Davis (Randall) and Marla Manz (Harkins); and his significant other Alice Ann Nash. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
