She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Jr. Staples and Alice Staples of Rockland; her husband Chet; her sisters, Jenny Callahan and Esther Noel; her half-sister Arlene Hill; and her close friend Russell Connon.
She is survived by: her former husband Chester E. Mason Jr.; her son Gregory T. Mason (Melissa) of Rockland; her grandchildren, Shea Mason of Tenants Harbor, Cody Mason and Bayli Mason of Yarmouth, ME; her daughter Glenda Mason Kammerer (Brian) of Rowayton, CT; her granddaughter Gabrielle Hastings (Matthew) of Burlington, VT; her great grandchildren, Delphine and Faroe; her granddaughter Ashley Kammerer Stevens (Leiland) of Darien, CT; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Maximus and Vivian; and her sister Diana Schofield (Skip) of Palmer, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
