He is survived by: his parents, Frank O. and Aili Keskilammi Salo; his son Robert Wayne Springer Salo; his brothers, Hannes P. Salo and Frank A. Salo; and his wife Nettie of Owls Head. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
