With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Everett Bean Sr. of Otisfield, Maine, who passed away on April 18, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Lamb Bean and Everett Stone Bean; his daughter Lisa Rae Bean Thurston; his sisters, Beverly Butters and Betty Hall; his siblings-in-law, Martena Grover, Lloyd, John, Sidney and Kerry Grover; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Betsey Grover.
He is survived by: his cousin Pat Bourque; his wife Donna Grover Bean; his sons, Richard Jr. (Laura) and Gene Carroll (Donna); his son-in-law Kenneth Thurston; his sister Judy Hunter (Calvin); his sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Scott), Alana Grover and Ruth Grover; and his friends, Lenny Adler, Jimmy Thomas and Kermit Allard. He is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses; seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Otisfield Scholarship Fund, the Lisa Rae Bean Thurston Christmas Tree Fund, or the Otisfield Fire Department.
