It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine Jeanne Sorel of Otisfield, Maine, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lemire and Laurette Lemire (LaBranche); her son Paul Sorel; and her siblings, Pauline Russell (Walter) and William Lemire.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Goulet (Raymond) of Manchester, Constance Sorel of Otisfield, Claire Turner (Donald) of Lake Wylie, SC and Lucy Stoddard (Michael) of Nashua. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
