He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simon Grove and Bessie Grove; his children, Kimberly Grover Harris (Jeff) of Norway, ME, Mike Hurst (Bonnie) of South Paris, Jeff Hurst (Cara) of Georgia and Hope Perkins of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kassandra Harris, Zachary Harris, Derek Hurst, Crystal Hurst, Kristina Albright, Samantha Palmer, Ashley Perkins, Amber Mcfarland, Ben Perkins and Kevin Perkins; his great grandchildren, Kinsley McAllister, Miles Palmer of Australia, Tyson, Tucker Albright of Georgia, Charlotte Palmer, Sydney and Halle Hurst of Bangor, ME.; his sister Shirley Bean (Norm); and his great grandchild Wayland Harris.
