With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Earl Glidden (Orrington, Maine), born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on March 29, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, Fred Glidden and Marion Glidden; and his siblings, Walter, Janice McGinley and Lelia Elkins.

He is survived by: his children, Judy Patterson (Vern), Gail Rowe (Jim) and Dave Glidden (Robin); and his grandchildren, Paul Patterson and Corina Fitzgerald (Chris). He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews.
