He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Garland and Eleanor Deleware Garland; his wife Patricia Garland; and his children, Bruce Garland and Linda Hare (Samuel) of Lexington, SC. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
