He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ovide Remillard and Rose Anna Remillard (Lamirande); his brother Gerard Remillard; his grandson Stuart Clappison; his wife Joan Remillard (Marchand); his children, Michael P. Remillard (Christa), Catherine Clappison (Joseph), Cynthia Worthing (Douglas), Joyce Mills (John) and Laurie Shepard (Benjamin Johnson); and his grandchildren, Aidan, Owen, Andrew, Amelia, Abigail, Gary, Cassie, Chloe, Connor, Renee, Cindy and Heather. He was also cherished by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to La Kermesse Franco – Americane Festival – P.O. Box 289 – Biddeford, ME. 04005 Any donations will be used to sponsor the French musicians performing in the 2023 festival.
