He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dyer and Emily Dyer (Conohan); his siblings, Alice LaBrecque, Russell Dyer, Kenneth Dyer, Harold "Dick" Dyer and Robert Dyer; and his son-in-law Arthur "Butch" Gaudette.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Dyer (Shelbie) of Buxton, Sharon Gaudette of Westbrook, Richard Dyer of Buxton, Theresa Bakker (Scott) of Sebago Lake and Christopher Dyer (Laurel) of Scarborough; and his grandchildren, Timothy Dyer, Laura Dyer, Ross Dyer, Briana Gaudette, Danielle Gaudette and Matthew Dyer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
