She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Novillis and John Novillis; her son Richard Smith; her husband Richard Smith; her brother John Novillis; and her grandson Dickie Girard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Smith and Kimberly Provencher; her grandchildren, Christopher Girard, Heather Provencher (Francisco Lopez) and Liz Provencher; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Paloma.
