He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harland Grant and Mary Jane Grant (Morse); his significant other Jeannette; his children-in-law, Jackie Grant and Raymond Janelle; his wife Joanne; and his children, Nancy Labrecque, Leo, Maurice Grant, Beatrice Janelle and Katie Valladares. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
