It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colette Kavanagh Mathieson of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, born in Rockland, Maine, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kavanagh, and Alice Kavanagh, Sr.; and her siblings, Kevin Kavanagh and Marie Kavanagh. She is survived by: her husband James Mathieson, Sr.; her children, James Mathieson, Jr. of Cornish and Alicia Perry (Marshall) of South Thomaston; her siblings, John Kavanagh (Theresa) of Owls Head, Ernest Kavanagh Jr. of Rockland, Theresa Kavanagh of Rockland and Kim Young (Christopher) of Owls Head; and her great grandchildren, Eli Billings, Emery Billings, Bella Billings, Carter Billings, Farrah Gushee, Grady Hamilton, Leah Ames and Luke Ames.
