Jean L. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean L. Smith of Ogunquit, Maine, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean L. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Jay Smith of Ogunquit. She is survived by: her daughters, Courtney and Jennifer Solomon (Wayne); her granddaughters, Gracie, Eva and Emma; her sister-in-law Madelene Nowell; her nephew Dan; her niece Lydia; her sister-in-law Valerie Littlefield; her nieces and nephews, Russell and Hayley; her brother-in-law LeCain Smith (Sheila Moir); and also Kyle (Sarah).
Jean loved to serve in her local community in many ways: She was a hospice volunteer, a camp nurse, founded a local breast cancer support group, raised money for cancer research, knit catnip mice for a local animal shelter and sewed thousands of COVID masks for medical workers.
