He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Ryder and Harriet Ryder; his brother Harry; his spouse Helen J. Shupe Sames; his children, Jefferson and Tonda; his grandchildren, Acadia and Nolan; his former husband Patrick Harvey; his granddaughters, Tessa and Grace; his brothers, Marvin (Marilyn Shupe) and Kenneth (Missy Shupe); his sisters-in-law, Joanne Shupe and Faith Ryder; his nieces and nephews, Donna, Bill Bondi, Karen, Charles Stump, Alexander Shupe, Erika Shupe, Scott, Deborah Ryder, Beth and Mark Vincent; and also Laura.
