He was predeceased by: his parents, Seldon Manter and Inez Manter (Chase); his fiancée Iva Walls; his brothers, Willis, Donald and George; and his son-in-law Dean Wade.
He is survived by: his sibling Sister Ruby; his friend Roy Bacon; his sons, Dale (Margaret), Ed (Ann Manter) and Barry (Jeanie Manter); his sister Ruby Easton; his daughters, Cindy Wade and Diane Manter; and his grandchildren, Eddie (Jen Manter), Kelly McFadden, Wendy Manter, Tim Wade, Matt (Abby Manter), Chris (Jen Wade), Catie (Chris Perry), Stacey (Steve Zubiel) and Jackson Manter. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many extended family, employees, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Barbara Bush Children's Center, The Children's Tumor Foundation or any local program that helps bring a smile to a young child.
