It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernal Finemore of Oakland, Maine, born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Frederick and Mertelle Finemore (Grant); his brothers, Louis and Galen; and his son Brett Finemore.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Kirk (Sharon) of Oakland and Brent (Kate) of East Falmouth, MA.; and his great grandchildren, Quinn, Keller, Brielle, Sawyer, Aloni, Anthony and Ashton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Oakland-Sidney United Methodist Church.
